• The ideal way to visit a town would be with a personal guide (without a group trailing behind), to see the parts you want to see and to stop for a coffee between visits or do some shopping. Well, you can do just that! The Office du Tourisme de Lyon rents out, for a modest sum, a map showing itineraries throughout the town together with a tape recorder and headset that make up the Audioguide, telling you about the Old Lyons, the theater and basilica in Fourvière and the main monuments on the Presqu'île (in French, English, German, Italian or Spanish).
