Description:

• The bar's name ("the dog in the back of the car" -- referring to the wobble-headed toy dog you still sometimes see in car rear windows) gives you a hint of the zany retro mood to expect here. Corny kitsch decor surrounds an eclectic mix of straight and bohemian clientele, and fit with a background of soul, funk, and rock 'n' roll sounds. Live acts include heavy-metal groups. The club is open daily from 9pm to 3:30am.
