Disconcertingly renamed after its takeover by the internationally famous ice cream company, this fine old theater (the largest in Madrid, with a seating capacity of 2,000) has switched from its traditional opera and flamenco programs to more modern entertainments such as 2008's Beatles Legend and Diary of Ann Frank -- The Musical. Shows begin most evenings at 8pm.
