Tetería de la Abuela

Description:

  • The name of this café might be misleading: though it s called Grandmother s Teahouse", it s not entirely granny-like. Youngsters flock here to enjoy tea, coffee or libations, to take part in the hip music, and to peruse the tantalizing list of homemade snacks—okay, that last part granny might ve thought of. The shabby-chic décor and small rooms make for an intimate, cozy setting for patrons as they enjoy selections like the house toast, which is made with goat cheese and caramelized onions, or the María —bread topped with Brie cheese and mango chutney. Other options include an array of salads, wraps, and freshly baked cakes. - Michelle Campagna
