Description:

  • This old-fashioned four-star hotel offers large, comfortable bedrooms and excellent service in an unbeatable location looking on to Plaza de la Castellana. The airport shuttle bus actually arrives at and departs from a stop underneath the square. There are lots of good shops nearby and you can easily walk from here to Prado Museum, Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum and Retiro Park. The seven-storey hotel opened in 1953 and was totally renovated in 1998. Buffet breakfast is available for a small fee.

    EXCELLENT HOTEL

  • This is not the first time that we have stayed at this hotel. It has always been excellent. Good location easy walking distance of the best shops 25 minutes to Playa Major Go Red...

    Ageing Queen needs a facelift.

  • Clearly the hotel was originally constructed at great expense but is now showing fatigue. However - Any shortcomings are amply overcome by the helpful and friendly staff.
