We stayed here for 4 nights. The location was great for all the central Madrid attractions and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. It can get noisy on the street below so beware...

I stayed at hostel Marlasca for 2 nights. I found the staff to be average, not rude, but not polite either just indifferent. It is well located close to Puerta Del Sol and lots of resteraunts...
