Description:
Ceres VEGETARIAN -- Opened over a decade ago in the northwestern corner of the city, this is one of the longest-running green restaurants in Madrid, with a dedicated and faithful band of regulars so best to book a table before calling in. The eclectic range of dishes is based on fresh market ingredients; there is even a small on-site shop selling local products. Smoking, surprisingly for a vegetarian restaurant, is not frowned upon, so be warned.
