Description:
This restaurant serves some of the best Basque dishes in Madrid in an intimate, understated interior. Particularly delicious is the starter of boquerones, almost sweet anchovies marinated in garlic and olive oil. I loved the bacalao pil-pil vizcaina (cod in a Basque garlic sauce) and the wonderfully juicy king prawns. Dessert lovers will revel in the orange mousse with a coating of bitter chocolate or the more experimental black bread ice cream with coffee sauce.
