Description:
- La Vita é Bella has the whole shebang when it comes to Italian food to go: stuffed stromboli, lasagna, pizzas with various toppings, a wide assortment of pastas, calzones, and even Italian sandwiches. It's a small takeout joint (only about ten people fit inside at a time), which equates to long lines out the door. It's worth the wait, however, because a thick slice of freshly cooked pizza with steaming pepperoni, for example, only costs 3.50 euro. With a canned soda or beer, it's a full meal for 5 euro. The popularity of this take-away restaurant is evident in the crowds that flock here, particularly on weekends. They come for the cheap food and stay for the lively atmosphere, including rock music that blasts from the speakers. - Michelle Campagna
