Botijo (El)

Description:

• This is an attractive restaurant, with small wooden tables, tiles with nautical motifs adorning the walls, and traditional prints. Their pastel de pimientos (bell pepper tart) - a good choice for vegetarians, and the mollejitas de cordero (lamb sweetbreads) are excellent. They also have a good selection of grilled meats and their lamb is particularly good. If fish is your favourite, try their fillets of fresh cod cooked house style or a la Riojana. They have a fine wine cellar so select your wines carefully. This is a really pleasant and quiet place to go for dinner.
