- At this traditional mesón (old-style restaurant), they have their own cellar, full of excellent wines, including Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Albariña, Ribeiro, Manzanilla, Montilla-Moriles, and others. La Taberna del Herrero also serve both bottled and draught beer. While enjoying any of these drinks, you can try some of their tapas, such as veal and rabbit stew or Andalusian callos (tripe). You should also try their varied Spanish cold meats and cheeses from La Mancha, usually strong in flavor, all of them absolutely delicious. You will see the traditional ham legs hanging from the ceiling. La Taberna del Herrero is usually frequented by people working in banking or at nearby establishments.
