- National Museum, which is located inside the Sultan park is on the verge of being obsolete. A new building is underway under the Chinese aid which would be opened shortly in 2010. There is not much archived at the National Museum as it has been neglected in the past. With the new building coming, maybe its time to mark the beginning of making of history in the Maldives.
