Ediza Lake Trail

• Ediza Lake is reachable from Agnew Meadows, a stop along the road to Devil's Postpile. It's a 12-mile round-trip hike, but worth every step. The stunning lake sits at the base of an alpine cirque ringed by the famous Minarets, and the towering giants of Mount Ritter and Banner Peak. It's truly some of the most accessible and stunning backcountry in the entire Sierra. Plus, for those with less time on their hands, the same trail leads to Shadow Lake (pretty in its own right), which is just a 6 mile roundtrip hike.
