  • The Best of NileGuide

  • From beaches to national parks, there's something for everyone on Marco Island. If you want a little change from your resort, South Marco Beach is unpopulated and remote. It's no surprise that the area has stunning beaches; in fact, it's a given. But when you've tired of lounging all day at the beach and are in need of something a bit more active, the area has some great attractions. First, head to Everglades National Park and check out the orchids at the Fakahatchee Strand. If you're in need of a little bird watching, Tigertail Beach is the perfect spot to go. For a truly unique experience, take a ride on the Kahuna Katamaran and head to Cape Romano. This remote island is a beautiful place to spend the day without the hustle and bustle of everyday life. For fishing, don't miss out on Caxambas Park, which is a popular fishing spot for both locals and tourists.
