St. Charles
The St. Charles rail station is the hub of public transit in the city; from here, rail lines fan out all over Marseilles. St. Charles is also a nieghborhood known for its night clubs, jazz bars and cabaret. With its Mediterranean flavor, and high energy, St. Charles is the perfect area for sultry nights. Also, northwest of the city center is the Marseilles airport, just a short van ride from the St. Charles rail station near the Vieux Port.
