- If you don't have a Marseille insider to point the way, one would probably miss L'Escale(the one in Les Goudes). But step into this seafood restaurant overlooking the sea and the sights and scents will make sure you stay. A great view, friendly staff and excellent fresh seafood that couldn't be fresher(one must admit, it is amusing to see a fisherman run up to the restaurant to hand over the 'catch of the day'!), the kitchen at L'Escale specializes in bouillabaisse. It's tempting to try other menu items, but save them for your next visit. Don't forget to leave your mark on their wall.
