Description:

  • An attractive two-story pink colonial building houses Wally's, one of the most innovative restaurants on Great Abaco. Haitian paintings adorn the walls and small bar area, and wicker chairs and other furnishings make the dining room into intimate surroundings. Guests can also dine on the outdoor terrace. The owners, sisters Barbara and Maureen Smith, have fused local cooking traditions with those of the French to create an intriguing menu. Typical lunch selections include dolphin burgers, conch salads and gourmet sandwiches. The menu includes outlandish entrees such as Wild Abaco Boar, but the less adventurous can also choose from filet mignon, grouper, duck, chicken and other tamer options.
