Conch Inn Hotel & Marina

• At the harbor's southeastern edge, this is a casual one-story hotel leased on a long-term basis by one of the world's largest yacht-chartering companies, the Moorings. A number of small, sandy beaches are within walking distance. Its motel-style bedrooms are midsize, each with two double beds (rollaways are available for extra occupants). Bathrooms are small but neatly kept. All units overlook the yachts bobbing in the nearby marina. On the premises is a pool fringed with palm trees, and nearby is a branch of the Dive Abaco scuba facility. The on-site restaurant and bar, called Curly Tails, is independently managed and serves standard, recommendable fare.
