Description:

  • This jewel of a restaurant is located in an inn that sits on a bluff overlooking the fishing village of Menemsha. Extensive renovations and attention to quality have made this one of the island's top dining venues. Guests can dine inside in the spare, but elegant, dining room, or outside on the tiled patio. Either way, diners enjoy sunset views of the harbor. Most popular dishes include hazelnut-encrusted halibut with Marsala wine beurre-blanc sauce and Alaskan king salmon, grilled over Peruvian blue mashed potatoes with a morel mushroom sauce and crabmeat timbale. For dessert, you'll flip for the chocolate quadruple-layer cake made with white and dark chocolate mousse and Chambord.
