  • Maui often attracts honeymooners, couples on an anniversary, or just lovebirds looking for a relaxing getaway. With the warm climate, scenic landscape, and countless beaches, Maui offers the perfect atmosphere for a romantic adventure.

    What could be more romantic than a walk on the beach or a sunset viewing on the beach? Some of Maui's top beaches for simply walking and sunbathing include Ka'anapali Beach and Wailea Beach. While you walk Wailea, keep an eye out for celebrities who like to stay at the nearby Four Seasons Resort.

    A sunset or dinner cruise might be a great option for an evening activity. The Pacific Whale Foundation offers nightly sails out of Lahiana harbor that are fully catered. Even drinks are included! You may even want to check the schedule for a special star-gazing sail, which is offered about twice a month.

    Another evening activity could include attending a hotel luau with your significant other. Numerous hotels in Ka'anapali offer spectacular luaus, which not only serve you authentic Hawaiian food, but also entertain you with cultural dances, games, and activities such as lei making.

    Lastly, be sure to plan a trip out to Hana (Maui's most remote side of the island). The beautiful waterfalls, rain pools, and thick vegetation provide a great backdrop for romantic pictures in paradise. The windy road trip alone will inspire future reflections on your time spent on the Valley Isle.
