  • There are many ways to stay active on Maui including swimming, surfing, kayaking, hiking, riding bikes, and more. We have put together a short list of activities that will keep your juices flowing.

Let's start with a few of the top beaches on Maui. Wailea and Ka'anapali Beach offer long unobstructed sandy coastlines for walking or swimming. Ulua Beach in Kihei possesses some of the best off shore snorkeling and diving found on the island. Lastly, wave junkies should head to Ho'okipa or Baldwin Beach on Maui's North Shore to find the bigger waves.

Hiking is another way to stay active on Maui. Drive out to Iao Valley, Haleakala National Park, or Hana for some scenic trails through Maui's unadulterated landscape.

There are also plenty of tour-operated activities such as guided kayak expeditions, surf classes, bike rides down Haleakala crater, ATV tours, zip line adventures, and more. If you can't find ways to stay active on Maui, you aren't looking.
