Central Maui: Maui

The towns of Wailuku and Kahului in central Maui are the hear beat of the island life. In this district there is the Kahului airport, Maui Memorial Hospital, Maui Community College along with shopping centers, big-box stores and more. The area is not only commercial, bust residential as well, with a couple of modest but well located hotels. Wailuku is more of the country seat and where you will find historical buildings, museums, churches, the county courts and governmental buildings set just a couple miles from lush valley, streams and beautiful island vistas.
