North shore
North Shore Maui is a curious strip of oceanfront towns that offers several interesting beaches and an even more interesting crowd especially in the winter months. The area stretches from Spreklesville nearest he Kahuli Airport to Paia, and within those boundaries are a collection of cane fields, white sand beaches and the former plantation town of Paia. The beaches are the attraction here with Baldwin Beach being a family beach complete with a baseball field, pavillion and lifeguard and Hookipa Beach where windsurfers and kite boarders challenge the Maui winds for excitement and adulation.
