If you are looking for top-grade fish, caught off the Maui coast "daily", head to The Fish Market in Honokowai, north of Lahaina. You will find the store at the south end of a little strip mall. The actual address is 3600 L. Honoapiilani Rd., and they are open daily from 10 am - 5 pm. They only take cash, so make sure you bring enough!
The restaurant ambiance isn't much…a counter inside and some tables outside which face the parking lot, but they make up for it in the high quality fish dishes. Order from over 12 different fish sandwiches, salads, soups, tacos, and more. The daily specials are something to keep in mind and a kieki (kids) menu is available, so bringing the whole family is definitely recommended.
If you are in a rush, or looking to take a meal with you to the beach, you can call ahead and your food will be ready when you get there. Also, you can buy fresh fish and take it home to cook or bar-b-que. The Fish Market gets great reviews and you won't be disappointed in the variety and quality of their fish.
