- This company offers guided tours through some beautiful Upcountry areas. Maui's Upcountry is cooler than the "desert side" and has a less tropical atmosphere. It is also extremely beautiful and well worth exploring. You'll see ocean cliffs, the Haleakala crater, waterfalls, freshwater pools and more. A swimming and picnic break takes place halfway through the ride. Rides start each morning and only six riders are allowed on the trip, so reserve in advance.
