Description:
Most tourists that visit the peak of Haleakala simply park their car, admire the view, and then head back down in elevation. A small portion will venture a half mile down on trails to see what the inside of a volcano looks like, but only a few will make it to the crater floor 2500 feet below.
By booking a horseback riding tour of Haleakala crater, you will enjoy amazing views of the volcano that many visitors miss. The full loop is about 7.5 miles and will take you a little over four hours to complete. That includes a prepared lunch once you reach the crater floor!
