    • Wine aficionados will not want to miss a trip to this upcountry winery, established in 1974. Located on the slopes of Mount Haleakala, the verdant, picturesque grounds are a splendid place for a relaxing picnic. Of course you'll first want to sample the award-winning wines (and perhaps buy a bottle) in the historic Kalakaua Cottage Tasting Room. The wide variety of wines includes a brut champagne, rose cuvee, pineapple sparkling wine, blush and several red and white wines.

      Free tours are offered daily at 10:30am and 1:30pm.
