Wailea is among the top golf destinations in the world. It boasts three separate and highly acclaimed courses: the Gold Course, Emerald Course and Blue Course. All three courses are gorgeous and challenging. They have been written up in all major golf and leisure travel publications, including Golf Digest and Conde Nast Traveler. Two pro shops and excellent practice facilities are also on the grounds.
It is recommended that you call as far in advance as possible; 30 days notice is suggested, but NOT required during peak season. Check out www.waileagolf.com for rates, special offers and information.

North Course, another 18-holes of championship golf designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. Opened in 1993, the North Course goes out of its way to make golfers feel at one with their natural surroundings. There are no distractions on this course-unless you considered the unobstructed views of the blue pacific, neighboring islands, and humpback whales breaching during whale season to be a bit distracting. In fact, to make it feel more like a nature walk and less like a golf course, even cart paths on the North Course are tucked away and hidden from view. You will have some obstacles to overcome, however. And as an added bonus to save golfers some time looking for lost balls, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed most fairway so that everything slopes back towards the center

Our Local Expert Says:
Upscale course in the center of Maui, where greens fees are more reasonable than at the resorts ($65 - $110). Good food in the clubhouse.
This course located in central Maui has been written up in famous publications such as Golf & Travel and Golf Digest. Many tourists visiting the island often miss the opportunity to play the course, because they tend to play courses that are closer to their resort towns of Wailea and Ka'anapali.
The Dunes at Maui Lani resembles courses you will find in Scotland, which is unusual for courses on Maui, which tend to be more tropical. The Dunes features long fairways, though sand traps, and a couple beautiful water hazards. After completing your round, grab a bite to eat in the club house as you overlook the 18th green.
