- akumal is a butiful place in the rivera maya between playa del carmen and tulum. perfect beaches with wite sand and a nice coral reef to snorkel! the main atraction are the turtules you can whatch there. from may till october the turtles lay eggs on the beach and if you lucky you can see the babyturtles on the way into the ocean. great ambient!
