Which beach resort would you recommend at Mazatlan?
We need a resort close to town,does'nt necessarily need to be a water sports place or near a swimming beach. Should have nice pools,bars and food.

I myself have stayed at the Hotel Las Flores. It is right on the beach, and has 2 pools, 1 hot tub a restaurant an a bar. It is near everything, since it is located on the Zona Dorada. The service is very good, and it is not too expensive. You can check it out on www.tripadvisor.com.

Hello!
My favorite hotel in all of Mexico is actually in Mazatlan. It has a VERY nice beach, wonderful swimming pools, bars, good food, and is .. just... beautiful. The landscaping for the hotel is Italian, and is fantastically lit up at night.
It is called the Pueblo Bonito at Emerald Bay (NOT the Pueblo Bonito in town, which is also nice, but not as nice as the Emerald Bay) The website is

You can also book a very inexpensive transport from the airport to either of those two hotels directly from the pueblobonito.com website. another great option you can choose aswell is pueblo bonito emerald bay hotel wich is made on a colonial arquitect way base on a virgin island and its preety much complete with a great bar ;), private beach jacuzzi, and a good restaurant.

Well here in the Riviera Maya I would have to say Akumal, Isla mujeres, Cozumel and Holbox
But if you want my personal opinion the best place in México for mi is Cabo pulmo in Baja California Sur.

Well like they told you Pueblo Bonito in Esmeral Beach is one of the best that you can find, just make sure that you don’t make a reservation in the one in downtown.
