One of the new wave of "Flashpacker" hostels (meaning it has a four star rating), you'd be forgiven that this was a boutique hotel, such is the quality of the surrounds. Facilities include a comfy state-of-the-art cinema, roof top sun deck and a section of the property reserved for women only. The real highlight is the ground floor bar which is popular with locals. Its beer garden, plasma screens and nightly drink specials often bring in the locals.

above average hostel in an amazing city!

me and my friend stayed at this hostel for around 4 weeks between Jan- Feb 2012. The hostel it's self is above average. The rooms were cleaned every day and so were the bathrooms....

Loved the location

Place was clean and in the centre of everything. Nice staff an Melbourne is amazing. Go to the little towns so nice and the hostl was near all the gorgeous cafes.
