Description:
Bar Lourinhã is where you can share cocktails, wine and Mediterranean inspired food. The Chapel, a room for private functions, has table dinners on the first Tuesday of every month. The executive chef and co-owner Matt McConnell has brought new style in bar-dining to Melbourne. The small space has a wide bar, tall tables and square bar stools, with bottles lined up against one wall. The nibble plates are similar to tapas bars. They have miniature dishes like spicy rabbit, olive empanadillas, Sicilian stuffed squid, morcilla (blood sausage), and yellowtail kingfish pancetta. Helping diners in their food are the European spirits, Mediterranean wines and liqueurs. Lunch bookings are accepted for Monday to Friday.
