• Byblos which opened in early 2011, is the latest restaurant to perch itself on the riverside setting of WTF Wharf centre, which is fast becoming Melbourne's gastronomic district. Put simply, it is a feast for the eyes and palette as this uniquely modern Mediterranean meets Lebanese cuisine, under the guidance of French trained Lebanese Chef, Nino Kanaan, offers meals many would not have experienced. For the uninitiated the mixed platter of tabouleh, hommos, kebbi, lahim bil ajeen, sambusek, rekakat, fatayer, vine leaves and falafel is a good start, though the waters of the Yarra River just metres away could tempt one to order the Lebanese Fish and Chips.
