• Tucked away under a railway bridge at the western end of Flinders Street, you would probably not find this restaurant unless you were walking past, but it is definitely worth seeking out. Inside, it is spacious with shiny black tables and a few interesting pictures on the wall. Being slightly off the beaten track, it is usually not busy. The menu offers traditional sashimi, sushi, tempura, teriyaki and udon noodles. All mains come with miso soup and steamed rice, making it very good value for money. A tasty Yasai Nabe made with bean curd, Japanese seaweed, and vegetables, is delicious.
