• The Royal Saxon is a rare breed. From the talent and quality of produce that comes from the kitchen it would be easy to think that prices and atmosphere would be upmarket…but this is not the case. In fact this relatively new place is very unpretentious and quite good value for money. The interior has a strictly comfy vibe with fireplace, high tables, and big glass walls which offer ample light. We especially like the artisan pizzas, served rustically on wooden boards, though the fish of the day is something not to be missed either. A few hard to find beers are also available.
