• Saigon Orchid has been tantalizing tastebuds in Melbourne since 1987. Like most Vietnamese restaurants, the choice is endless with an extensive menu. If you're undecided, attentive waitresses, dressed in traditional ao dai, are always ready to help. The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. Garlic rice (A$5), lemon grass and chilli chicken (A$15), and the simple yet flavourful vegetables in oyster sauce (A$10.50) are definite winners. The d�cor is fairly basic, but the scrumptious food and excellent service more than make up for it. The menu also comes with interesting snippets on the history of Vietnam, of the restaurant and Vietnamese cooking. - Tania Nadarajan
