- Wagamama's restaurants have enjoyed a growing popularity around the world. The winning formula includes giant bowls of noodles eaten at communal tables in a modern, minimalist setting. The menu samples from Japanese noodle bars and includes soups, stir-fries and teppan (grilled noodles), all cooked quickly from fresh ingredients. Like the restaurant's interior, service is streamlined. Orders are taken using PDAs, woks and grills hiss and sizzle frenetically behind the kitchen counter and dishes are rushed to the table as soon as they're cooked. The result is food that's fresh, simple and casual.
