Description:

  • Located around the corner, off the laneway, along the alley, with only a red door to its name, this authentic izakaya (small Japanese tavern) screams discretion. The decor is Zen and low-key. Dim lights illuminate this underground establishment. Tatami rooms cater for private dining and discussion. Set lunch (bento) boxes include miso, tempura, pickles and fruit platter and feature different meat and rice dishes daily. They are available for lunch and sell out fast. Quality sushi and sashimi can be enjoyed with the excellent range of cold sake. Strictly 18 years and over.

    Sleek and refined

  • Went for lunch. A very sleek place. Food and service was excellent. Really refined. Have a $18 lunch menu so relatively affordable. Would definitely go again.
