Kayaks, canoes and historically modeled boats are available for hire averaging around $30 per hour, which has provided a perfect backdrop for hundreds of marriage proposals in the past, and on St Valentine's Day thing just get plain crazy. There is a café/bbq on site that serves a very decent sized breakfast as well as sausages and burgers for lunch. For those that enjoy stepping back in time with a high tea in the afternoon, the boathouse complies to its historic setting, offering a pleasant afternoon retreat after boating.
