Description:
- It took Melburnians quite a while to warm to Federation Square, after the expansive jig-saw type design was completed, but in the last few years, they have adopted it as their own. Set around a cobbled stone arena which is often home to a myriad of festivals and cultural shows during the year (it just played host to Oprah Winfrey's visit if you don't mind), permanent attractions include the Ian Potter Centre and the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) which shows cult films. Restaurants are also prevalent from the Japanese home-style cooking at Chocolate Buddha, to the ultimate quick snack at Grandstand Hot Dogs. Beer lovers will be captivated by Beer Delux and their hundreds of brews.
