Keep your eyes peeled and you will see a wide variety of wildlife along the way (for example koalas, wombats, kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, bandicoots and tons of birdlife) with many historic and natural features worth stopping for. Be sure to check out the Eildon Dam Wall while in the area. The Victorian National Parks Association organizes many guided walks and activities throughout the region, located 2.5 hours from Melbourne.
