Hi Fierdaus, I have been to KL many times. The weather in Melbourne even during its summer is not as hot as Malaysia. The weather in Melbourne is nice all year round. The issues you have travelling at this time in Melbourne is the rain.
The best transport are buses specifically the skybus found outside the International terminals. They are cheap and easy to use. Just head for the main doors and wait int he designated bus areas.

hiya thanks for the question
we have a skybus that departs from the airport every 15 mins for like $20 or less to the city and from there, there are numerous mini buses or shuttles or even a free tram that can and will take you around close to or near your accommodation, w are a backpackers delight for accomodation but it really depends on what you are wanting to see and do - and Yes June is the Beginning of Winter here so do please bring a few jumpers and a raincoat that covers you plus an umbrella - never the less you can get that stuff here if you need to and are not sure and I can help guide you in this if need be
a few places to suggest . . it depends on what you want to see ? we have the 12 Apostles, Phillip Island, Buccah Caves, Ballarat, Bendigo, Shepparton, - Old Melbgourne Goal, Cook's Cottage, Melbourne Museau,. the Aquarium, Theatre Restuarants, the Great Ocean Road as starters - it also depends on your budget ad for how long you wish to stay for - where possible I can help you .. please feel free to contact me and ask me even helping within reason to get to your accommodation etc
Best wishes
Cassandra

hey i always knew that you would answer my question as ive seen most questions asked by travelers were answered by you.. are u doing this thing as a business?well im planning to go there in june next yr, the only thing that matters to me is food as im a muslim, i wonder where can i get the Halal food.. im a backpacker, usually i travel overseas with my friends, but this time id like to try backpacking by myself because i know theres nothing id worry about in australia than i was in other asian countries that ive visited.. id like to go to night markets, or places that i can get things on discounts..hehe, as im a student as well as a backpacker, i dont mind staying at a budget hotel though i know a budget hotel's price is unlikely as in Malaysia..how much usually it costs for a night?id like to stay for a week but maybe in different motels..
