Yes, the club's 80-something namesake "King of the Blues" does play here occasionally, though not on a regular basis. However, any night of the week you can catch blazing blues played by one of the best house bands in town. Because of the name, this club attracts famous musicians who have been known to get up and jam with whomever is on stage that night. Ruby Wilson is among the regulars well worth checking out. Upstairs, a new third-floor restaurant opened in the fall of 2007. It's Itta Bena, named for B.B.'s Mississippi hometown.
