In business since 1951, this tiny but mightily aromatic shop is easily spotted: Look for the larger-than-life Mr. Peanut character tapping with his cane on the front window of the shop. Inside, you'll inhale the warm, toasty scent of all kinds of nuts -- freshly roasted on the premises and still displayed in nostalgic glass counters and then weighed on old-fashioned scales. For fans of the monacled big guy, there's also lots of Mr. Peanut memorabilia on display.
