Restaurant Los Almendros has introduced thousands of people to Yucatecan cuisine at its Mérida, Mexico City, and Cancun outposts. The original restaurant was founded in Ticul, Yucatán by Don Rubén González in 1962 where its signature dish, Poc-Chuc, was created.
