With an occupancy limited to only 250 people, Area Bar is exclusive from the get-go, and that's before you consider the clientele: stunningly beautiful fashion models, handsome young entertainment industry moguls, and the scions of Mexico's best families. Across the rooftop's teakwood deck, hotel guests and high society cluster at small tables near the railing or on bar stools at tall ones in the center, and sprawl elegantly across overstuffed couches under an awning; on cool winter nights, seats near the 12-foot long fireplace are much coveted. If you are particularly beautiful, wealthy, or well connected, you might gain admittance to the über-fashionable Aqua VIP Pool Deck, located one floor below the main bar.
