• Type: Cafés
  • NileGuide Expert Says:

Large room with fantastic room and a lot of history.

  • Description:

    • Starbucks pales in comparison to this Mexican coffee house. If legends are to be believed, Fidel Castro and Che Guevara planned the Cuban revolution sitting in this cafe. Cafe La Habana is one of Mexico City's longstanding cafes doused in rich history. The cafe's clientele is as diverse as it gets—journalists, professors, tourists and businessmen crowd the huge hall alike. The coffee is strong and the breakfast is big and scrumptious. While you're here, keep your ears open because you never know which historical tidbit you might come upon!
