- In the Plaza de la Conchita, in the heart of Coyoacán, culture is an element that blows freely in the air. Many artists have captured the beauty of its old houses and the church in the middle of the Plaza; many composers have dedicated their music to the locality; and many poets have been inspired to write verses about the place. In Coyoacán, there are many stages that form part of this cultural environment. One of them is the Casa del Teatro (The Playhouse), where you can see monologues, comedies, dramatic and experimental productions, Mexican theatre, as well as free adaptations of classical works or plays written by foreign dramatists. There are discounts for students, teachers and senior citizens with valid ID cards.
