Description:

  • Morocco meets Mexico City at Hookah Lounge, an Arabian Nights fantasy restaurant, nightclub, and tobacco bar. This Condesa favorite specializes in smoking shisha – the chill-out experience of puffing flavored tobacco in a water pipe that you share with your friends.

You can enjoy dinner before smoking – a fusion of Middle Eastern/Mexican cuisines. The wine list includes Chilean, French, Italian, and Spanish vintages and selections from Mexico's newly emergent vineyards.

The casually dressed crowd tends to be young, pretty, and single – nightlife denizens who favor Hookah Lounge's unusual mix of DJs spinning alternative music, a bevy of female belly dancers, and events like Model Zone Night. Grupo Hookah has grown to include other bars in Santa Fe and Satelite and its own record label (if you want to recreate your own hookah experience buy the bar's mix CD).

Hookah Lounge is just around the corner from Red Tree House B&B.
