Description:
- Visitors wishing panoramic views of Mexico City and easy access to destinations like the National Anthropology Museum and Rufino Tamayo Museum choose the luxury Japanese-owned Hotel Nikko. It shares a block with the JW Marriott and W Hotel on the street that separates Chapultepec Park from the exclusive Polanco neighborhood. This is not an intimate property: the 38-story tower houses 756 guest rooms and suites, which were renovated in 2010 according to Feng Shui principles in soothing neutral tones. Egyptian cotton linens cover what the Nikko calls the "Royal Bed" – Select Comfort mattresses; a variety of pillow types is available upon request. The most frequent guest complaint about Hotel Nikko is that the service can be hit-or-miss. As would be expected in a hotel that receives many business travelers, the Nikko's business center is well equipped. Dining options include two restaurants or the nearby El Bajio and Hard Rock Café.
Rates: USD $180-800. Does not include 18.5% room tax
